Lea Alstad is one of Norway’s most exciting young artistic voices — a self-taught painter from Trondheim who, in just a few short years, has built a passionate national and international following with her vivid, expressive work.
I first met Lea in a small shared apartment in Oslo while documenting artists for a long-term photography project. From that first session, it was clear she was on a compelling artistic path. Since then, I’ve photographed her extensively for PR, social media, and editorial use — always driven by the joy of capturing her vibrant work and sunny personality.
